Seniors who have already obtained a parking permit should park in their assigned spot on Tuesday morning. Seniors who have not yet obtained a permit, but plan to drive to school will be directed by Brother James to an area not yet reserved. Those Seniors should purchase a permit on Tuesday or if no more are available, place their name on the waiting list. Only seniors are permitted to drive to school and park on campus.
The Colts received a boost from Chris Cali. The junior middle blocker, who is out for the sport for the first time in his life, finished with three kills and nine blocks.
"His blocking was the key to the win," CBA coach Monica Slattery said. "He did a phenomenal job of blocking. He is real smart. He knows where the hitter will put the ball and he puts the ball down for points."
CBA also received strong play from Ryan Gelenitis, Matt Coccaro and Corey Fallon.
Gelenitis, a junior outside hitter, added six kills and four blocks. Coccaro, a senior libero, contributed 15 digs. Fallon, a senior setter, handed out 17 assists and added two aces and one kill.
"Matt did a great job," Slattery said. "He picked up the hits. He knows the angles. He made perfect passes so that we could get our offense going. Our strength is our blocking, but we have a lot of real good hitters. It all starts with a pass."
