Welcome From the Principal

On behalf of the administration, faculty and staff, welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit us here at www.cbalincroftnj.org

Since 1959, Christian Brothers Academy has provided a Catholic education in the Lasallian tradition for capable young men who will benefit from a varied and rigorous college preparatory curriculum, programs of spiritual formation, and a broad range of academic, athletic and cultural activities.

Core to our mission is the religious formation of our students. Through the opportunity to attend daily Mass, prayer at the start of the day and before all classes, religious studies courses, retreats and the availability of other traditional Catholic practices, students are afforded the ability to learn and grow in the Faith. Through our service program students are given the opportunity to put their faith into action and reflect on issues of social justice and the obligation to serve others. Responding to this call to Christian charity, students traditionally do more than twice the minimum number of required service hours.

With a choice of 19 Advanced Placement Courses, honors and accelerated classes in each discipline, Peer Ministry and the Brother Michael Dwyer Scholars Program, students are challenged and prepared for acceptance to top-tiered, Ivy League, Catholic, and outstanding public universities. The graduation class of 2012 earned academic scholarships totaling nearly $26 million.

We have an extensive varsity and intramural sports program allowing the students to participate in athletics suitable to their ability. During the 2011-2012 school year, there were numerous interscholastic championships at the national, state, parochial, divisional and Shore Conference level.

Complementing our academic and athletics programs is an extensive assortment of extra-curricular clubs and activities that allow students to pursue their interests and learn life-long skills and hobbies.

All of us at Christian Brothers Academy are committed to helping our students become
“intellectually mature and morally responsible leaders for the church and society.”

Please visit us often on the web.

Sincerely,

Peter R. Santanello, M.S., Ed.M.

Principal
