CBA Daily Announcements

A representative of Follett will be in the Cafe' on FRIDAY (06/14) from 10:00am 'til 1:00pm to purchase used textbooks.  They will take hard-cover texts books as well as paperback novels in good condition.

If you have borrowed lunch money from the Cafe', please settle your account as soon as possible.  If you are uncertain as to the status of your account, please speak to one of the ladies in the Cafe'. No one will be permitted to borrow money after THURSDAY (05/23).

Once again The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office is sponsoring Youth Week to be held JULY 8-12 from 7:45am to 4pm daily at the Monmouth County Police Academy in Freehold.  Youth Week is free of charge.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office

All outstanding library books are due back no later than Friday, May 31st.  If you need to keep a book longer, please see Mrs. Britton.

On Thursday (05/23), the library will be open for quiet study only- no group work.  AP exams will be in process in the group study rooms and quiet in the library must be maintained throughout the day.

On THURSDAY (05/30) a representative from Rt. 18 Sports will be in the cafereria, during lunch periods, to take varsity jacket orders.  You must bring your varsity letter and a $125. deposit in order to be measured for a jacket.  Checks should be made payable to Rt. 18 Sports.

The final meeting of the year will take place on MONDAY (06/03) at 2:40 in RM114.  Middle School Conference positions and next year's conference schedule will be determined at this meeting.

If you are interested in next year's trip, sign-ups/reservation checks will be taken on a first-come/first-served basis on THURSDAY (05/23).

You can help underprivileged kids in Africa in need of sports uniforms and equipment by putting you gently used
sports equipment in the collection box outside of Mr. Sewnig's room 202.  This includes baseball, basketball and soccer equipment.  Please NO USED HELMETS OR SEVERELY DAMAGED EQUIPMENT. If you have any questions contact Oneworldoneteam@aol.com for any and all answers.

Applications for Executive Board positions for the 2013-14 school year are now available for Mr. Frake in HR501. The applications are to be returned by TUESDAY (05/28).

The BBQ will take place on SATURDAY (06/08) from Noon 'til 4pm. Wristbands are now available from Mrs. Szablewski in RM114.  Adults $20--18yrs. and under $10.

Talent performers are wanted for entertainment at the BBQ.  See Mrs. Szablewski in RM114 to sign up.

SOPHOMORES: You are invited to enroll in CBA's June Prep-SAT Program.  Get a head start on real SAT preparation now!  Students from all schools are welcome.  Application are available from Mrs. Bracken in the Guidance Office.

JUNIORS: You are invited to enroll in CBA's NEW program on how to write an effective college application essay.  Classes are in June.  Students from all schools are welcome.  Applications are available from Mrs. Bracken in the Guidance Office.
