For the second year in a row, CBA has earned the distinction of being the top athletic program in the state of New Jersey. On Tuesday, September 25th, members of the NJSIAA and Shop-Rite came to the Academy to present the students of CBA with the Shop-Rite Cup, which is awarded to the best athletic program in the state. The winner is determied by a points system which is based on how each sports team finishes in the state tournament. In the 2011-2012 academic year, CBA won 7 state championships, earning the Colts the top spot once again.
