GIVING LEVELS

The Fund for The Academy donors at all levels will be recognized in CBA’s Annual Report, published in September following the close of the school’s fiscal year on June 30. Donors at the level of the President’s Circle and above are invited to the annual President’s Dinner, hosted by Brother Frank Byrne each December.

THE FOUNDER'S SOCIETY

The Fund for The Academy gifts of $25,000 or more
Signum Fidei (Sign of the Faith) was selected as the motto of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1751. The motto appears prominently on the Institute’s coat of arms, and also on the seal of Christian Brothers Academy. 

THE SAINT LASALLE SOCIETY

The Fund for The Academy gifts of $10,000 or more
St. John Baptist de la Salle (1651-1719) founded the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in France in the years between 1679 and 1719. There are now LaSallian schools in 82 countries serving over 1 million students. 

THE BROTHER BERNARD MCKENNA SOCIETY

The Fund for The Academy gifts of $5,000 or more
Brother Bernard McKenna, F.S.C. (1914-91) was the first Principal of Christian Brothers Academy, serving in that office from 1959 to 1965, and as a member of the math faculty in the 1970s-80s.
 

THE BROTHER ANDREW O'GARA SOCIETY

The Fund for The Academy gifts of $2,500 or more
Brother Andrew O’Gara, F.S.C. (1928-2008) was Principal of Christian Brothers Academy from 1979 until 1991, when he became the Academy’s first President.
