Christian Brothers Academy is seeking a dynamic individual with a scholar’s passion for the subject matter as a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Located in beautiful Monmouth County, New Jersey, Christian Brothers Academy is a Catholic college preparatory school for young men. Deeply steeped in the LaSallian tradition and a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Christian Brothers Academy prides itself on educating the whole student. As part of that commitment, we are seeking a Spanish teacher who can develop and implement interactive lesson plans that emphasize critical thinking and can collaborate positively with all relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a dedicated educator with an engaging, enthusiastic personality who truly enjoys working with high school students and feels confident in classroom management.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should be able to write and speak fluently in Spanish and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, NJ state certification, and teaching experience. Familiarity with LaSallian pedagogy is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom technology
- Ability to contribute to our school’s diverse extracurricular programs
- Excellent communication skills with parents and students
- Ability to address students with different learning styles
- Ability to collaborate with fellow teachers
