Pipes & Drums
Founded in 2011 by President Brother Frank Byrne ’75, the CBA Pipes & Drums Band is one of the few high school pipe bands in the country.
Created to offer students a unique musical experience and high-quality instruction, the band meets weekly throughout the school year—and up to three times per week during its peak performance season in February and March.
The band performs regularly at local schools, parades, and special receptions, proudly representing CBA across the region. All students are welcome to join, including those with no previous musical experience. Club officers are selected by the moderators based on skill, commitment, and performance. To remain a member in good standing, students are required to attend at least 75% of practices and 85% of performances.
