2025-2026 CURRENT STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The current student scholarships below require an application and supporting materials to be submitted by the applicant.

General Instructions for Applying

You may apply for the scholarships below by sending an email indicting your interest and attaching the required essay to scholarships@cbalincroftnj.org.

All supplemental materials (letters of recommendation, proof of service, portfolio materials, and performance videos) must be emailed to scholarships@cbalincroftnj.org with the applicants last name and names of scholarships being applied for in the subject line. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Letters of recommendation and proof of service must come directly from the person providing the recommendation or the proof of service.

Please carefully read the criteria for each scholarship to determine your eligibility.

Any student applying for a financial need-based scholarship must submit the financial aid application through FACTS Management in order to be considered.

The Brother Charles Baxter Endowed Scholarship for Social Studies
The Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski '00 Memorial Scholarship

The Brother Charles Baxter Endowed Scholarship for Social Studies

Eligibility: Rising senior for the 2025/2026 school year

This scholarship will be awarded to a rising senior who demonstrates the following:
1. Strong academic performance in History and English courses;
2. Skill and ability in social studies related activities such as student council, Model UN, work related to charitable purposes and participation in other non-athletic CBA extra-curricular programs;
3. Skill and ability in social studies related activities outside of school, such as volunteering, charitable endeavors or political activities;
4. Supports, by his attitude and actions, the CBA philosophy and objectives.

Students interested in applying must submit an essay addressing the following:
Reflecting on the experiences that have had an impact on your life, provide one to three unique pieces of advice for incoming freshmen that would help to maximize their CBA experiences.

Please email your essay to the CBA Scholarship Committee at scholarships@cbalincroftnj.org by June 30, 2025.

The Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski '00 Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors for the 2025/2026 school year

The Zilinski Memorial Scholarships honor the memory of Dennis W. Zilinski II ’00 (U.S. Military Academy ’04) who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005. The Lt. Dennis Zilinski Foundation and Memorial Fund selects and awards six $3,500 scholarships annually to CBA students who, through creatively designed projects, bring awareness of the value of military service to the CBA community.

These $3,500 scholarships will be applied only in the 2025/2026 school year, but awardees are encouraged to reapply in subsequent years.

The completed application is due by June 30, 2025 and must be mailed directly to the Zilinski Foundation. All instructions will be included in the application.
