Do you want to get a sense of what a day at CBA is like? Sign up for our Future Colt visit program!
The program runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from early November through early April (8:05 am – 12:15 pm).
How It Works
Prospective 8th grade students will be matched with a student host who is a current CBA freshman. (Please note: we do not take requests for hosts.)
When to Request a Visit
Future Colt visits begin after the Entrance Exam. In the submission confirmation for the exam registration, the link to create your Family Account in our Application Management System will give you step-by-step instructions on how to register for Future Colt visits.
Details About the Day
The applicant will be contacted the night before the visit by his freshman host, who will introduce himself and briefly detail what your son can expect on his visit.
On the day of your visit, please bring your son to the Main Office at 8:05 a.m. You may pick your son up the Main Office when the visit ends at 12:15 p.m.
Each 8th grader will spend the morning going about his host’s school schedule.
CBA will provide your son with free lunch if his freshman host has a lunch period scheduled during his visit. If the host does not have lunch scheduled during his first 5 periods of class, then the host may take your son to the cafeteria to grab a snack between classes. Your son will not participate in physical education classes during his day with us.
Our dress code is an adapted “business casual.” Your son should wear a dress or collared shirt with neat and comfortable dress pants and dress/business casual shoes. Jacket and tie are optional. Please no jeans, shorts or cargo pants.
You will need to complete the Emergency Release Form to schedule a visit. This form can be found on the online portal after completing the Application for Admission. **Please note: No student will be permitted to participate in the Future Colt program without completing this form.
Space is Limited
Spaces for Future Colt visits are limited and we cannot guarantee a visit for all interested students. We do kindly ask that you only schedule a Future Colt Visit for your son if he is truly undecided on his high school selection.
