Director of Athletics

Mr. Nicholas Mariniello

Marinello is leads a CBA athletic department comprising 20 interscholastic sports, over 50 coaches, and more than 600 student-athletes per year.  With an approach that aligns with the Academy's mission, Marinello is a firm believer in athletics as a key component to a student’s educational journey.

Athletic Training

Mr. Nick Aguilera, ATC

The health and well-being of our student-athletes is of primary importance. A full-time Athletic Trainer works directly with our coaches and school nurses to care for the needs of our student-athletes. The services provided by the trainer includes prevention of injuries, emergency care, evaluation of injuries, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

Strength & Conditioning

Coach Steve Bare

The strength and conditioning program is designed to enhance each student-athlete's success and, in turn, enhance each teams' success. Student-athletes have the opportunity to work out in a state-of-the-art fitness center containing the latest equipment in strength and conditioning training.

Media & Branding

Mr. Jason Lutz

The Athletic Department is supported by a robust media program, including high-quality graphics, athlete features, photography, livestreaming, and more. Interviews with coaches & players or requests for photography & video can be arranged by emailing or calling Mr. Lutz. The student-run CBA Digital Network produces broadcasts of upwards of 35 CBA games per year.
