On Thursday night, 100 CBA alumni- spanning from 1967 to 2015- and friends gathered at Beacon Hill Country Club for the sixth annual winter Networking Night.

The vision of President Brother Frank Byrne ’75 and Director of Alumni Relations Pat McGann ’71, Networking Night allows Academy alumni of all graduating years and other CBA community members to connect in an exclusive CBA setting.

It’s at these networking nights where you see the wide range of positions that CBA graduates hold. Alumni in fields such as archtecture, education, finance, medicine, sales and technology enjoyed a cocktail hour, a buffet dinner and a guest speaker during the evening.

On hand to guest speak this year was Jerry Barca, an author and film producer whose latest project was the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary “Catholics vs. Convicts” on the 1988 Notre Dame-University of Miami football game. Barca also authored the book “Big Blue Wrecking Crew: Smashmouth Football, a Little Bit of Crazy, and the ’86 Super Bowl Champion New York Giants.”

CBA will hold a spring Networking Night in New York City on May 25th.
