CBA RECEIVES FUTURE CHARITABLE LEADERS AWARD AT LUNCH BREAK 2015 GALA
October 23, 2015
The Academy was recently honored with prestigious recognition at the annual Lunch Break gala event.
The evening at Navesink Country Club recognized CBA with the Future Charitable Leaders Award, recognizing the decades of support our school community has made to the worthy initiatives at LunchBreak in Red Bank. Our students, faculty and members of the CBA family who have volunteered their time at Lunch Break are to thank, and we gladly and gratefully accept this recognition of our school community’s commitment to serving our local communities.
From the program:
Our partnership with CBA goes back 32 years, when Lunch Break was founded. Year after year we witness boys enter CBA and four years later, leave as exceptional young men. Their strong tradition of compassion and service to others and desire to work as a team to help the less fortunate has resulted in a community partnership that knows no bounds. They are respectful and hardworking young men who answer the call for assistance no matter how big or small the task. Or how short the notice. And, when their task is complete, they ask what they can do next.
There is so much good that happens at CBA, that sometimes we are overwhelmed by their kindness and generosity and it is no wonder the amazing achievements of their students and their commitment to others. The legacy of its original founders continues to inspire students, parents, families, and the entire community. Every student who enters CBA will no doubt become a future charitable leader.
The Lunch Break family is fortunate to have been embraced by CBA and we look forward to working together for many years to come, with these special young men.
Thank you to all of our CBA community, past and present, students and teachers, parents and family, who have helped us recognize and carry out a commitment to community service.
