CELEBRATING 50 YEARS AS AN ACADEMY MAN

On Friday, May 19, 2017, members of the Class of 1967 celebrated their 50th high school reunion during a special evening at the Academy.

The festivities began the day before, at Brookdale Community College for the Class of 2017’s graduation. Alumni celebrating their 50th anniversary were given a special recognition and helped distribute the ceremonial challenge coins to their newest alumni brethren.

The challenge coin represents a serious commitment—to live according to the lessons learned at CBA and to return back to their alma mater 50 years from now to pass the coin on to the Class of 2067.

After graduation, the alumni of 1967 enjoyed a special cocktail reception in CBA’s Alumni Hall. Friday saw the main event: the reunion dinner dance and tours of the campus grounds.

Members of the Class of 1967 enjoyed a great selection of live music, a delicious dinner, and plenty of high spirits in the school’s Quinn Library.
Special thanks goes out to Pat McGann, Steve Bulvanoski, Don Norkus and the CBA staff for making the entire two-day celebration possible.
Alumni from all class years can take part in two great upcoming events:
Thursday, May 25 at 6:30pm
CBA’s NYC Meet-up & Networking Night
@ Jack Demsey’s
Saturday, June 10 at 12pm – 4pm
The CBA BBQ
@ Christian Brothers Academy
