CHRISTIAN BROTHERS ACADEMY REPRESENTED AT NEW JERSEY STATE HOUSE CSW16 EVENT

On Thursday, February 4, sophomores Matthew and Christian Caceres represented Christian Brothers Academy at a New Jersey State House event recognizing National Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 31 – Feb. 6).
The event included attending a live legislative session, a State House tour and the Governor’s Proclamation in celebration of National Catholic Schools Week. Several legislators and Catholic school representatives from around the state attended.
As a Catholic institution that actively participates in the week’s celebrations, we are proud that two of our own students were present for the State’s formal recognition of CSW16.
About National Catholic Schools Week 2016 (CSW16):
(From www.ncea.orgNational Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2016 is January 31 – February 6. The theme for the National Catholic Schools Week 2016 is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” Schools typically observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.
