Class of 2019 Joins Alumni Brotherhood at 57th Commencement Ceremony

When the members of the Christian Brothers Academy Class of 2019 received their diplomas on Thursday, May 23rd, it was the conclusion of four years of achieving academically, developing a true moral code for life ahead, excelling on the playing fields, on the stage and in the community, and of course, creating lasting friendships.

The Class of 2019 will leave a tremendous legacy at the Academy, including the following statistics as they depart for the next chapter in their lives. You can see each individual college selection for the members of the Class of 2019 here.

The 223 graduates received over $24.213 million in merit-based scholarships to colleges and universities across the country.

45 seniors graduated with distinction (seven-semester GPA of 91.5 or higher).

The Class completed 22,968 hours of community service, which is an average of 107 hours per student when only 50 hours are required.

34 seniors were members of CBA’s Saint de La Salle Chapter of the National Honor Society.

17 graduates were Brother Michael Dwyer Scholars.

8 individuals were National Commended Scholars with one national finalist.

45 seniors will be playing 14 different sports at the collegiate level.
