WHAT THE STUDENT-ATHLETES ARE SAYING

“CBA has prepared me both academically and athletically to take this next step at the University of Richmond by providing me with challenges that have fostered life-long skills I can apply in college and beyond. One specific moment that shaped me into the man I am today was competing in the national cross country championships with six teammates I called my brothers. It was a moment that symbolized the blood, sweat, and tears our team endured in pursuit of a shared goal. We gained valuable lessons not only from our coaches but also through the bonds we formed and the experiences we shared with one another. The type of discipline taught at CBA truly cannot be found anywhere else. Most importantly, I now know that if I approach other aspects of life with the same mindset I brought to that race, truly anything is possible.” – ALEX MASTROLY, UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND CROSS COUNTRY

“CBA has prepared me academically through its rigorous coursework, which challenged me to become a disciplined and focused student. Athletically, the school provided incredible resources—from the athletic trainer who helped me recover from anything bothering me to the soccer coaching staff who pushed me to grow on and off the field. These experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded individual, ready to take the next step in college.” – CARLOS CANO, IMMACULATA UNIVERSITY SOCCER

“To achieve anything here at CBA, I had to work extremely hard. Transferring my junior year was not easy, but I am forever thankful I did. Thank you, Coach Billet, for believing in me as a player and taking my game to the next level. I would not be in this position if it weren’t for you and the whole coaching staff.” – KEVIN PIKIELL, SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL

“Christian Brothers Academy has profoundly impacted my life, transforming me from a young boy into a confident young man. The unwavering support of the brotherhood, combined with the dedication of the teachers and staff, has been instrumental in my personal and academic growth during these four years. Their guidance and encouragement have prepared me to excel in soccer at the college level, equipping me with the skills and confidence needed to succeed both on and off the field.” – BRAYDEN PERRY, ARCADIA UNIVERSITY SOCCER

“I would like to say thank you to all my teachers who have helped me along the way on my academic journey here at CBA. I would also like to give a special shout out to Coach Mulligan for always believing in me and helping me in my college recruitment process.” – SEAN NAJDZINOWICZ, TCNJ SOCCER
