INTERNING WITH AN ACADEMY ALUM

The CBA alumni network – now over 10,000 strong – isn’t just a resource for graduates. Rising seniors Lucas Capone, Christian Caceres, Luke Caponegro & Matthew Caceres found that out this summer, when they connected with Class of 1995’s John Hazard for a truly notable internship experience in the Big Apple.

The foursome took up an internship at @Contently (a global tech media company located in Soho) and were hosted by Hazard, who serves as the company’s Vice President of Services.

Fortune Magazine recently named Contently as one of the “Top 25 best small businesses to work for in New York City.” And the Academy men got to learn why firsthand. They were able to participate in high-level management meetings, have one-on-ones with more than a dozen staff members, research industry-specific journalists who would be suitable to write very specific content, and prepared reports used in several different company initiatives.

The experience is just one instance of how Academy men pave the way for one another, help each other, and continue to grow our school tradition.
