Pegasus Cast and Crew Win Three Basie Awards, Receive 14 Nominations

The students of Pegasus Production Company were honored to receive 14 nominations for the Basie Awards, winning three of them, for their productions during the 2022-2023 school year. The nominations include those for the fall comedy Rumors and the spring musical Godspell. The Count Basie Center’s annual Basie Awards is a program modeled after Broadway’s Tony™ Awards, honoring excellence in high school theatre in Monmouth County.

Congratulations to the cast and crew below for their nominations. The winners were announced on May 24 with the CBA cast and crew in attendance. The Basie Award winners included Outstanding Company in a Comedy (Rumors), Outstanding Set Design (Rumors), and Outstanding Small Music Ensemble (Godspell).
