Pipes & Drums Band Enters Anticipated Parade Season

The Christian Brothers Academy Pipes & Drums Band kicked off the St. Patrick’s Day season, and their spring slate of performances, with the Belmar Parade on Sunday, March 4th.

The band had 29 members marching in the Belmar Parade, which included five alumni. Check out some of their performance here:

The spring is filled with area parades and events that the CBA Pipes & Drums Band has been a fixture in for years.

Upcoming events include:

  • Friendly Sons of St. Patrick on March 9
  • Rumson Parade on March 11
  • Little Silver St. Patrick’s Party on March 17
  • South Amboy Parade on March 18
  • Keyport Parade on March 24.

 

About the CBA Pipes & Drums Band

A vision of President Brother Frank Byrne ‘75, the CBA Pipes & Drums Band is one of the few high school pipe bands in the nation. With the goal of providing students with high quality instruction, the band meets weekly during the school year and three times per week during the February & March performance season.
