To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of CBA’s theater, a group of alumni have been working over the summer to produce Neil Simon’s classic, “Rumors.”
Company director Marcos Orozco (’01) said the concept of an alumni show was, in traditional Company fashion, an initiative started by the students. “They want to connect with the theater alumni and learn more of the history of the program so they can continue its legacy,” said Orozco.
An open call went out to alumni and a cast of males and females who previously graced the stage was chosen. “It’s been great to work with this group,” said Orozco. “What we are really hoping to do is set the stage and create a precedent for producing shows ‘by CBA alumni, for CBA alumni.'”
