The annual Whackers & Hackers alumni golf tournament proved once again to be a roaring success, and a great way to extend the weekend.

In total, 88 alumni golfers took their talents to the rolling hills of Pebble Creek golf course for a sunny, but temperate pre-thunderstorm stroll. The best ball scramble tournament was won with a score of 59 by the foursome of Jamie Raymond “85, Brian Tonry ’85, James O’Connor ’85 and Charlie Hart ’88.

Several other challenges and champions were named during the event, including:
Longest Drive:
  • 9th Hole – Steve Santangello ’86
  • 14th Hole – Kris Kraman ’94
Closest to the Pin:
  • 3rd Hole – Rich Lynch ’63 (1’10”)
  • 18th Hole – Charlie Hart ’88 (10’8″)

Dennis Collins ’81 won the putting contest, coming in 3 inches shy of an 80-foot putt!
