Two of CBA’s yearly publications received honors from the American Scholastic Press Association for their 2018-2019 print editions.

The Pegasus Yearbook won the first place award from the Press Association for their “Brothers” edition, while the Arister Magazine won first place with attention to its content and design. The yearbook was also commended for “Outstanding Sports Section” during the review process.

The Press Association solicits and collects yearbooks and student publications from across the country, reviewing each submission and giving each a graded designation. Books are either unplaced or receive honorable mention, second place, first place, or first place with special merit.

CBA’s yearbook and literary magazine were evaluated on a 1000-point scale and judged based on content presentation, general page design, general photography, publication structure, and creativity.

The Yearbook is co-moderated by Mrs. Victoria Meehan and Mrs. Melissa Widdis. Arister Magazine is moderated by Mrs. Jennifer Viola.
