CBA is excited to announce a partnership with Game U “video game design, coding and robotics…” www.game-u.com. Game U has built programs that fit into the CBA Enrichment period (Wednesday mornings) so that students can learn from industry professionals during the school day.

Game-U will provide 18 forty minute sessions from October 2021 through March 2022, teaching students the fundamental skills in STEAM to create video games.
The first 6 forty minute sessions will cover the introductory course (Ramp Up), where students will embark on an epic “Behind the Scenes” journey through different popular game genres! First, they’ll learn how to navigate and manipulate objects in 3D space. Each week after that, they’ll explore the fundamental design concepts that go into making each game genre function, as well as review the basics of programming using various professional programs to get them ready to immerse in making their own games.
The next 12 forty minute sessions will cover the various game genres that CBA chooses to start off their learning.
Students can vote from the following genres to determine what will be offered at CBA (all students are on the Voyager level):
