CBA Hand Delivers Class of 2027 Acceptances to Local Schools

Oak Hill Academy was one of 14 schools that CBA representatives visited to deliver acceptances.

As the holiday season approached, the Christian Brothers Academy administration and admissions team were busy welcoming the newest members of the CBA brotherhood.

On the day that Class of 2027 acceptances were mailed, CBA visited 14 middle schools in Monmouth and Ocean Counties to hand-deliver these special packets to students.

Nearly all of the middle schools visited featured groups of five or more students that were accepted to the Academy.

“We are looking to develop men of faith, character and action at CBA,” President Ross Fales explained at one of the stops. “We are looking forward to you being a big part of CBA and wanted to come to personally congratulate you.”

Principal Neil Begley, Director of Enrollment Management Jennifer Maccarella, Director of Guidance Pat Brennan, Director of Communications Jason Lutz, and Associate Director of Admissions Victoria Gnerre joined Fales on the road to deliver acceptances on December 16.

“I have the privilege of coming to schools to speak to students who are interested in attending CBA,” Begley said. “Not every school is like yours where every student is accepted. That is a testament to not only what you have been able to accomplish, but also a testament to your teachers, your administration, and a big testament to your parents.”

At each school, every student was personally presented with their acceptance packet in a special, short program that was arranged with help from each school’s administration. The newest CBA Colts then posed for a photo with the Academy’s representatives at that school.

CBA is looking forward to welcoming the entire Class of 2027 to campus on February 23 for the official Welcome Night.
