INFORMATION FOR INCOMING FAMILES

As we strive to live the mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle and provide a contemporary, Christian education for everyone, no matter their circumstances, we are committed to making this invaluable education both affordable and sustainable. We offer tuition assistance to as many qualified students as possible.

CBA utilizes FACTS management to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application including assets, income, expenses, other spending commitments, etc.

We have a limited amount of financial assistance available to those families who demonstrate need based on the FACTS analysis. In order to be considered for financial aid you must adhere to the deadlines below so that we may make financial aid available in a timely fashion.

Financial Aid Application Available on FACTS – for incoming freshmen families only, Upperclassmen my apply for financial aid beginning in February 2024 October 1, 2023
Financial Aid Application Deadline– if you wish to receive a tentative financial aid award with your son’s admission acceptance, your financial aid application must be filed with FACTS by this deadline. November 21, 2023 (the financial aid application will remain open past this deadline however we cannot guarantee the availability of financial aid for late applicants)

INFORMATION FOR UPPERCLASSMEN FAMILIES

Information for Upperclassmen Families

For our returning families, all upperclassmen will be automatically re-enrolled with FACTS Management.  You will receive an email confirmation from FACTS in April confirming your new active agreement for the upcoming school year.  Please do not create a new FACTS account.

For upperclassmen, beginning February 1st, applications for financial aid will be available directly through your FACTS account.  You must reapply every academic year for financial aid.

A tuition deposit of $1,000 will be withdrawn for sophomores, juniors, and seniors on May 15, 2024 for the 2023-2024 year.  Incoming freshmen pay this tuition deposit at the time of their enrollment.

If you have made the decision to withdraw your son at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, please inform our Director of Enrollment Management, Jennifer Maccarella by April 30, 2024 to avoid the tuition deposit being withdrawn from your account.  Mrs. Maccarella can be reached at jmaccarella@cbalincroftnj.org or 732-747-1959 x217.

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES

CBA has a number of endowed scholarships, funded by our generous alumni. These scholarships must be applied for and can be found on our website.

The scholarships currently listed on the webpage above are from last year. The list will be updated to reflect the scholarships currently available in late fall 2023.

Incoming freshmen cannot apply for a scholarship until they have received an acceptance to CBA.

About FACTS Management

Since FACTS Management activates new agreements in April, a one-time non-refundable FACTS fee will be withdrawn from your designated account.

What is the tuition at CBA?

Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is $20,900.

What additional fees can I anticipate?

Upon acceptance to CBA, there is a one time $300 non-refundable registration fee. (*Incoming freshmen only)

A one-time payment debited from your FACTS account on September 15th for the following:

  • For freshmen, gym uniform: $40
  • For sophomores, Computer Science Lab fee: $105
  • For juniors, Junior Tie Ceremony fee: $75
  • For seniors, a graduation fee/retreat fee: $300

If Applicable:

  • All AP courses: $98 per course
  • AP Economics & Physics-C: $196 per course
  • Alira Exam Fee: $10
  • STAMP Exam Fee: $25
  • Sports Participation Fee: variable depending on program

Does CBA offer tuition payment plans?

Yes, FACTS Management–CBA’s billing agent–offers four distinct payment plans:

  1. Payment in full- FACTS fee- $20
  2. A Two-Part payment plan (Aug and Dec) FACTS fee- $20
  3. An 8-Month payment plan (July through Feb)-$50
  4. A 10-Month payment plan (July through April)-$50

FACTS also offers peace of mind insurance for an additional $20.

All families must enroll with FACTS.

Does CBA offer financial aid?

Christian Brothers Academy does offer financial aid for families based on need.

You may apply for financial aid with your active FACTS Management account (see “Grant and Aid” tab.) Along with the submission of your application, FACTS requires that you submit all W-2’s and tax returns from the prior year.

Upon completion of the application process, a committee will review the request. FACTS will notify the families of financial aid award if applicable.

When can we apply for financial aid?

For incoming freshmen: Families may apply for financial aid beginning on October 1st of the student’s 8th grade year, after they have submitted an Admissions Application and registered for the Entrance Exam.  Tentative financial aid awards will be sent with student’s admissions decision for all students who have submitted a complete Financial Aid Application by November 21, 2023

For upperclassmen: Beginning February 1st, applications for financial aid will be available directly through your FACTS account.

What percentage of students recieve financial aid?

Approximately 15 to 20 percent of CBA students receive some form of financial aid.

When is the $1,000 tuition deposit due for upperclassmen?

A tuition deposit of $1,000 will be withdrawn from the FACTS account of all sophomores, juniors, and seniors on May 15, 2024.  Incoming freshmen pay this tuition deposit at the time of their enrollment.

Is the $1,000 deposit refundable for upperclassmen?

Yes, tuition deposits for upperclassmen are refundable until July 15th. Thereafter, 50% until the outset of the school year.
