FIVE MEMBERS OF CLASS OF 2017 NAMED NATIONAL AP SCHOLARS

Christian Brothers Academy is proud to announce that five members of the Class of 2017 were recognized as National AP scholars.  This is an honor granted to the top performers in the nation in the AP program; recipients must receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken and must receive scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
The five National AP scholars from the Class of 2017 are:
  • Tyler Gentile (Georgetown)
  • Nicholas Karris (Northwestern)
  • Joseph LaForgia (U. Penn)
  • Jack Murphy (Haverford)
  • Matthew Prince (Cornell)
Each of these students took at least 10 AP exams, and four of the five never earned a grade lower than a 4 on any of their AP’s.
The AP program at Christian Brothers Academy remains a paragon of the academic program.  Congratulations to these proud CBA graduates on their exemplary achievement.
