Freshmen Enjoy Welcome Outing Series in August

While we count down the days until the members of the Class of 2026 officially join their brothers on campus, several groups of freshmen were able to have some mid-August bonding during the Freshman Welcome Outing series.

Four outings were held over two weeks and the bond between classmates was immediately obvious among the youngest Colts.

  • Long Live Paintball: two outings visited the paintball course, challenging the boys to work together to win the contests that the moderators created for them. The first outing was so popular, many students went on the second outing for a second time!
  • Night at the BlueClaws Game: dozens of freshmen traveled to Lakewood for a night at the BlueClaws game. The CBA group had its own section down the first base line, allowing for great views, good food, and plenty of conversations.
  • Pocono Whitewater: another outing that challenged the teamwork of these Colts, a group bused up to the Pennsylvania to raft down the Lehigh River. The boys were broken up into groups of six and navigated a four hour ride down the river.

A big thanks to Mrs. Maccarella and Mrs. Szablewski for organizing these trips, and to the faculty chaperones and senior ambassadors who also joined in on the fun.
