Meehan Watches Students Flourish in CBA’s Lasallian Community

Mrs. Victoria Meehan joined the CBA faculty in 2016, but has been a member of the Lasallian school network for much longer.

She spent time teaching at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. before moving to New Jersey and becoming a history teacher at CBA. In total, she has worked in a Lasallian school for 18 years.

Meehan has a unique schedule at the Academy, teaching three sections of freshman World History as well as seniors in AP European History and AP Art History.

“One of the greatest things about being a teacher is seeing [the students] come in kind of fresh and new, and then I get this bookend where they come back to me in Advanced Placement classes and they have grown into young men. To literally be a part of the growing up process, it is a very cool and awesome thing for me.”

She is also involved in the extracurricular offerings at CBA, moderating the Pegasus Yearbook for six years and recently restarting the Art Club.
