ON THE PATH TO VICTORY

On Wednesday, December 16, 2015, as part of the Victory Road series, Academy students had the opportunity to speak with and learn from a true playmaker in the peak performance industry, Mr. Trevor Moawad. The event was held at Middletown South and the topic of discussion was “The Illusion of Choice.” Students enjoyed the thought-provoking words of wisdom from a proven thought leader in the peak performance industry, Trevor Moawad of Moawad Consulting Group.
Moawad has worked with some of the nation’s top athletic and business programs as well as athletes like Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. His insights have been featured on ESPN, SI, Fox Sports, NPR, USA Today, The Herald Tribune, Outside the Lines and a number of national, regional and local outlets. He is president of the Moawad Consulting Group, a dynamic organization committed to delivering advanced mindset solutions to the driven leader(s) in the world’s most competitive environments.
He has consulted with a variety of elite organizations in both sports and in business serving 8 consecutive seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide football program, Florida State University’s football program, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins.
About The Speaker
Trevor Moawad is a 15-year veteran of the sports business and mental conditioning fields. Moawad has a Masters Degree in Education (Social Sciences) from Occidental College and has been consistently recognized both nationally and internationally as an industry leader in the mindset arena.
Moawad has held multiple roles as both Director of Mental Conditioning and Director of the multi-disciplined IMG Performance Institute (at the IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida). Most Recently, Moawad was the Vice President of Pro/Elite Sports and Mindset at the prestigious Athletes Performance Institute (now EXOS in Phoenix, AZ).
Moawad also served on the board of directors for the National Association for Self Esteem and was a member of US Soccer’s National Sport Psychology staff facilitating both team specific and coach driven education.
Raised in Washington State, he’s the son of world-renowned peak performance educator, the late Bob Moawad, an original contributor to ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ and is past president of the National Association for Self-Esteem.
