The SpongeBob Musical Opens March 8 for Six Shows

Concluding their 38th season, Pegasus Production Company is excited to present six shows of The SpongeBob Musical this March.

When tremors start occurring everywhere, the citizens look towards Mount Humoungus, the previously dormant volcano right near their town. Threatened by an eruption, SpongeBob and his friends embark on a journey to save their home. With a catchy and energetic score written by a variety of musical geniuses, The SpongeBob Musical brings the beloved cartoon to life on stage.

As CBA decided to dive into the world of Bikini Bottom with SpongeBob and his friends, we decided to think outside the box and imagine what Bikini Bottom would look like if it was set in the real world. While staying true to the aesthetic of the beloved cartoon, the entire community worked together to keep waste and plastic out of the oceans and put it on the stage in clever and artistic ways. As you join the cast in their journey to learn the power of friendship, community, and uniqueness, we hope that you also look at the world around you and see what easy things you can do to make the world a better place.

Performances of The SpongeBob Musical will be on March 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 7 p.m., March 10 at 2 p.m., and March 14 at 5 p.m. at the Henderson Theater on campus. Tickets cost $10 for adults (over 16), $7 for children, and $5 for seniors and CBA students. Tickets can be only purchased at cba.booktix.com.
