Geoff Billet

Geoff has been a part of the NJ basketball scene for the past 33 years. He is regarded as one of the top players ever at the “Jersey Shore”, and along with his brother Todd, form one of the best brother combinations in NJ history. Geoff was a two time first team all-shore performer at CBA in 1994-1995 and was a first team all-state performer his senior year. During his years at the Academy the Colts won three straight Shore Conference Tournaments (only team in modern era to do so) and a non-public state title.  Following his career at CBA, Geoff started every game of his career at Rutgers University leading them into the Big East. At his time of graduation, Geoff was the only player in Big East history to score 1400 points, have 250 assists, and make 200 three pointers. Upon graduation Geoff coached in college for 8 years at Rutgers, Monmouth, and Seton Hall.  While at Monmouth he helped lead the Hawks to three NCAA Tournament appearances as the top assistant. In 2007 he was hired to lead the Colts. Geoff has led the Colts to 10 Shore Conference semifinals or finals appearances in his tenure with two titles and two non-public A south sectional state titles. He has amassed over 300 wins and is a member of the NJ Sportswriters Hall Of Fame.
