Coach Steve Bare has been the strength coach at Christian Brothers Academy since 2014. In that time, CBA has won the Shop-Rite Cup, which compares the success of all teams within an athletics department, for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022. More recently, Coach Bare has launched CBA Colts Weightlifting and CBA Colts Powerlifting, which compete in USA Weightlifting and USA Powerlifting meets, respectively. CBA hosted and won the first-ever USA Powerlifting New Jersey High School State Championship, with 15 CBA students qualifying for USAPL HS Nationals.
