Clubs & Activities

Spanish Club

The Spanish Club promotes an appreciation for Hispanic culture through activities that help students develop an understanding and passion for the Spanish language.

The club meets two to three times per month, where students take part in Spanish games, watch Spanish films, enjoy traditional meals and take part in other related activities. Also, each year the Spanish club competes against the Academy’s other language clubs in the language soccer tournament.

All students enrolled in a Spanish course at CBA are welcome to join. Students must be present for five meetings per semester to be considered in good standing. The club has been moderated for 26 years by Señora Ver Hoven, the Language Department Chair.
