Summer Internship Program

Students interned with David Collins ’86 at HBSE, which owns the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils.

Christian Brothers Academy has always fostered a brotherhood that includes generations of students and graduates.

Each summer, alumni are invited to help some of their CBA “brothers” who will be rising seniors in the following school year by giving them valuable internship experience in their chosen field or business.  If you have a need or interest in a summer intern for your business, we hope that you will be part of our list of summer opportunities.

To receive school credit, students need to satisfactorily complete a minimum of 20 hours as interns; if your opportunity is for fewer than 20 hours, we still encourage you to participate as the experience itself will be rewarding.  Students will make arrangements for the internship directly with the provider of the opportunity; afterward, they will notify the Associate Principal who will send more details about how to proceed to the internship providers.

You can read here about the opportunity four seniors had during Summer 2019 with David Collins ’86 at HBSE, owner of the 76ers and Devils.

Below is a link to complete a form that will feature your company information and a description of the internship opportunity for all those who are interested in participating.

The list of summer opportunities will be kept as a live document that will be updated with each new entry for our Juniors and their parents to review, so the sooner you complete the form, the sooner your internship opportunity will be shared with our students.  If you have brochures or other literature that you would like to send us, we can post them for the Juniors to further encourage interest in your internship opportunity.  These can be sent to dtoscano@cbalincroftnj.org (subject line: “Summer Internship”) or dropped off in the CBA main office.

Your willingness to help your CBA brothers expand their future horizons is truly appreciated.
